From Hawaii to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
It’s February 2026, and we are moving in FIVE months to Michigan. Currently we live in a 800 square foot apartment built in the 1950’s. Hopefully by this time next year we will have enough acreage to raise sheep, rabbits, and chickens. It’s going to be a crazy transition from hot all the time with no air conditioning to give a break from the heat, to cold all the time (potentially only getting heat from a wood stove). We clearly love a challenge in our family!
Hálendi Homestead is a dream in the making.
This eventually will be a place to sell any art we make, crafts we make, food or produce. A forward step before we start a tumultuous but adventurous path to the future!
